“Mike Carosello and Chelsea Lisiecki planned to open their new pasta shop quietly, easing into a steady routine of fresh dough and regular customers.
But their entrance into the Dexter food scene has been anything but quiet.
“I guess we underestimated how novel this is and how excited people are about it,” Lisiecki said.
Carosello and Lisiecki are co-owners of Carosello Pasta, a downtown Dexter shop featuring fresh, small-batch pasta. The shop at 3126 Broad St. opened in early April and has seen an explosion of piqued interest, purchases and pasta lovers.”
