“Residential real estate developer Core Spaces and investment firm TPG Angelo Gordon have closed on a partnership deal for the construction of a luxury high-rise student housing development in Ann Arbor, Michigan as analyst expectations for the sector run high relative to its traditional multifamily peers.
Located along East William Street just two blocks from downtown Ann Arbor’s retail center and the University of Michigan campus, the development is expected to include a total of 639 beds across 202 units in a 16-story structure. Floor plans are expected to range from studios to six bedrooms and include ground-level townhouses along with premium top-floor units.
“Ann Arbor is one of the top college markets in the country, and … the University of Michigan’s enrollment has continued to grow year-over-year,” Brendan Miller, chief investment officer of student housing at Core Spaces, said in a statement.”
The 333 E. WIlliam deal was brokered by Swisher Commercial agents. Mike Giraud and Randy Maas represented the listing side. Mike Jurgenson represented the selling side. Questions? Give our office a call at (734)663-0501.
