Charlie Koenn
I have experience in all facets of real estate with commercial, investment, development and vacant land properties. I have participated in several projects dividing and developing vacant land for clients and as a principal investor. With my knowledge and familiarity in vacant land and industrial properties, I have helped many owners in Washtenaw, Jackson, Livingston and Ingham Counties sell their property in ways best suited for each of them.
Growing up on his family’s progressive dairy and crop farm in the Chelsea area but watching his grandfather Herman sell real estate for 40+ years is what inspired Charlie to get into the business.
Charlie has been working full time as a licensed realtor since 1996 and obtained his Broker’s license in 2004. He has continued his real estate education by completing his Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI) designation as well as completing all of the required Certified Commercial Investment Management classes (CCIM). He is a graduate of Michigan State University with a B.S. degree.
His network of trust allows him to see and offer the full potential in the properties he represents. He can step back and view all of the opportunities available and knows the right people to make complex deals happen. He reaches out to land owners adjacent to a project, city managers and planning personnel, engineers, designers, and utilities to solve and create results. His sincere commitment to successful communities and projects has naturally grown trusting relationships all over Washtenaw, Livingston, Ingham, Lenawee, and Jackson counties in the public and private sectors
Professional affiliations include Member of National Association of Realtors, Michigan Association of Realtors, Builders and Remodelers Association of Greater Ann Arbor (BRAG), The Agricultural Lands Preservation Advisory Committee (ALPAC)
Charlie currently lives in the Dexter area with his wife Ann Marie and has four grown children; Tracy, Jack, Kevin and Natalie. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, hiking and hunting.
